About me

Since you’ve dropped by the site, you may be interested in knowing a bit more about the crystal lover behind Empath Heart, and how this site came to be.

As I mentioned, my name is Della, and I’m joining you from Newfoundland, Canada, where I live with my husband, J. And here is some of the inspiration behind Empath Heart…

I’ve adored rocks and stones my entire life. Whenever I travel or explore (far away or close to home), I always seem to find some pretty pebbles or intriguing stones that want to come home with me… And, since delving into the world of healing crystals several years ago, my passion has grown to include these lovely, fascinating stones. Now, my shelves are filled with an ever-growing collection of crystals, crystal accessories, and well-used books about crystals.

I have a heartfelt desire to help others live beautiful, fulfilled lives… And that has led me to studies in helping fields. I’m a Certified Crystal Healer (CCH). I’m also a Certified Traditional Usui Reiki Practitioner, a Certified Essential Oil Coach, an educator (BEd), and a trained counsellor (BA Hons in Psychology, MEd Counselling Psychology). I write and create my products because I love sharing what I’ve learned about how very precious and impactful healing crystals can be for gentle and sensitive souls.

I’ve dreamed for years of being my own boss. And now that dream is coming true, thanks to SBI (Solo Build It!). SBI has been the perfect tool for bringing Empath Heart to life, providing everything from site-building and hosting to guidance and support for my site – and helping me create a delightfully enjoyable, easy-to-manage, profitable, and life-changing e‑business.

When I’m not writing or creating for Empath Heart, you’ll probably find me sorting or admiring my crystals 😉, knitting up a storm, reading a vintage murder mystery, exploring the great outdoors with my hubby, or snuggled up with a cup of Red Rose tea, watching an old film on TCM. An HSP, INFP, and a true homebody, I write and create from my cozy home office on The Rock (aka Newfoundland).
